The 24-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs after an impressive start to the season in Cameroon’s Elite One, where he currently leads the scoring charts.
Timba joined Dynamo Douala from Avion FC du Nkam last summer after scoring 10 goals in Cameroon’s second division. His performances have quickly attracted attention from abroad, with Tunisia’s Stade Tunisien and clubs in Belarus also monitoring his progress.
However, Scotland FC have made the most concrete move. Timba’s agent, Paul William Akono of LANA Sport, confirmed that the Zimbabwean club have held direct discussions with his representatives over a potential winter transfer.
An agreement would give Timba his first opportunity to play outside Cameroon and provide Scotland FC with an attacking reinforcement as they look to build on their recent domestic success.
Negotiations are ongoing, with both parties reportedly optimistic about reaching an agreement.
