The Le Mans player underwent successful surgery after picking up an injury during Algeria’s friendly against Niger last September. He has since started rehabilitation and is reportedly making encouraging progress.
His agent, Souleymane Ba, told Maghreb-Foot that the recovery programme was progressing as planned and that Bourabaa remained in good spirits.
βAdil Bourabaa began his rehabilitation a few days ago, just as planned. He is following a specific programme to ensure a full recovery,β Ba said.
Before his injury, Bourabaa had impressed with Le Mans, but the setback interrupted his promising start to the season.
The Algerian now hopes to join a more ambitious club, preferably in Ligue 1 and one competing in European football next season. He believes regular playing time at a higher level could also strengthen his chances of establishing himself in the national team.
For now, his priority remains completing his rehabilitation before deciding on the next step in his career.
