Austrian Bundesliga side SK Rapid Vienna have handed Ghanaian winger Daniel Nunoo a contract extension, keeping the youngster at the club until the summer of 2030, according to the club’s official statement.
The 20-year-old’s previous deal was entering its final months and was set to expire at the end of the current season.
However, the Austrian club confirmed via its official on Thursday that they have secured his long-term future following his steady progression through the ranks.
Nunoo joined SK Rapid in 2024 after arriving from Ghanaian side Accra Shooting Stars.
Since moving to Austria, the wide man has spent the majority of his development with the club’s reserve setup, establishing himself as a key contributor. Nunoo has scored five goals in 25 appearances for SK Rapid II.
His impressive form for the reserve side earned him a promotion to the first-team squad, where he has already featured five times for the senior team.
The long-term extension testament of SK Rapid’s strong belief in the 20-year-old’s trajectory as he looks to establish himself as a regular in the senior starting lineup.
